Product Details
When you're building or rebuilding an engine, especially one that's going to see high RPMs, the pushrods are a critical part of the valvetrain that shouldn't be overlooked. COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are made to handle the demands of serious performance applications. They're constructed from a single piece of seamless chromemoly tubing with a .080-inch wall thickness, which gives them a lot of strength without adding unnecessary weight.
The ends of these pushrods are precision formed to be thicker and stronger right where they need it most, while keeping the wall thickness consistent all the way around. They're also heat-treated to ensure they can handle the stress, especially if you're using guide plates. COMP Cams also OD grinds them for uniformity and finishes them with a black oxide coating. You can easily identify them because the length and part number are laser etched right onto the pushrod itself.
