This construction, combined with a black oxide coating and heat treatment, makes them 37% stiffer than standard .080-inch wall pushrods. The 7.900-inch length and 3/8-inch diameter are common for many engine builds, and the 210-degree tip radius is designed to work well with rocker arms that have cup-type adjusters.
The OD grinding ensures consistency across the pushrod, and the black oxide finish is not just for looks; it also helps with identification.
