If you're rebuilding the top end of your engine, especially for applications that put extra stress on the valvetrain, you need pushrods that can handle the load. These COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are built to provide that extra stability. They are constructed from a single piece of seamless chromemoly steel with a substantial .135-inch wall thickness, making them 37% stiffer than standard .080-inch wall pushrods.

This increased stiffness is crucial for maintaining consistent valvetrain geometry under higher loads, which can be especially beneficial when using rocker arms with cup-type adjusters. The 8.500-inch length and 3/8-inch diameter are common sizes, and the 210-degree tip radius is designed to work well with many rocker arm styles. They also feature oil holes sized to ensure proper oil flow to the valvetrain, and a black oxide finish that helps prevent corrosion. Each pushrod is laser etched with its length and part number for easy identification during installation.
