This added stiffness helps ensure consistent valve train geometry, especially when you're running higher spring pressures or more aggressive camshaft profiles. They're made from a single piece of seamless chromemoly steel for strength and durability, then finished with a black oxide coating and heat-treated for added wear resistance. The 210 tip radius is designed for proper contact with your rocker arms and lifters.
