The black oxide coating and heat treatment add durability, and it's designed to be 37% stiffer than pushrods with a .080 inch wall.
The .135 inch wall thickness contributes to improved rigidity, which can help maintain valve train geometry under stress. This pushrod features a 210 tip radius for proper contact with valve train components.
