When you're building or rebuilding an engine, especially one that's going to see high RPMs or demanding race conditions, every part in the valvetrain matters. The pushrod might seem like a simple piece, but it's crucial for transferring the lift from the camshaft to the rocker arms. COMP Cams' Hi-Tech pushrods are made to handle the stress that today's performance engines put on them.

These pushrods are constructed from a single piece of seamless chromemoly steel tubing with a .080" wall thickness. This one-piece design, combined with heat-treating, ensures they won't bend or fail under pressure. The ends are precision formed for added thickness and strength right where it counts, while maintaining consistent wall thickness. They're also OD ground for uniformity and finished with a black oxide coating. Each pushrod has its length and part number laser etched on it, making identification straightforward during installation.
