COMP Cams is a well-known name for performance valvetrain parts, and their Hi-Tech pushrods are built to handle the demands of high-RPM engines. A pushrod might seem simple, but it's a critical link in your engine's valvetrain, transferring the lift from the camshaft to the rocker arms. It needs to be strong enough to avoid bending or deforming under stress, and it must work in harmony with the other valvetrain components at the engine's operating RPM.

These Hi-Tech pushrods are constructed from a single piece of seamless chromemoly tubing with a .080-inch wall thickness, giving them serious strength. The ends are precision formed for added thickness where it counts, and the whole assembly is heat-treated to ensure it works well with guide plates. They're also OD ground for consistency and finished with a black oxide coating. Each pushrod has its length and part number laser etched on the outside for easy identification, which is a nice touch during assembly.
