Product Details
When you're rebuilding the valve train, the pushrods are a critical link. This COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrod is a one-piece design, meaning it's made from a single piece of .080" wall, seamless chromemoly steel tubing. This construction method helps ensure it has the strength needed to avoid bending or failing, especially at higher engine speeds.
The ends of this pushrod are precision formed to add thickness and strength right where it's needed most, in the tip area. It's also heat-treated for maximum strength, making it compatible with guide plates. The surface is OD ground for consistency, and it's finished with a black oxide coating. For easy identification, the length and part number are laser etched right onto the pushrod.
