Product Details
Pushrods are a critical, often overlooked, part of your engine's valve train. They transfer the lift from the camshaft to the rocker arms, and they need to be strong enough to handle the forces involved, especially in high-RPM or racing applications. COMP Cams' Hi-Tech pushrods are built to meet those demands.
These pushrods are made from a single piece of seamless chromemoly steel tubing with a .080-inch wall thickness. This one-piece design, combined with heat-treating and precision-formed ends, ensures they won't bend or fail under stress. The ends are also made thicker for added strength where it counts, while maintaining consistent wall thickness. They are OD ground for uniformity and finished with a black oxide coating. Each pushrod has its length and part number laser-etched on it for easy identification, which is helpful when you're working on an engine build.
