If you're rebuilding the top end of your engine, getting the right pushrods is key to ensuring your valvetrain operates correctly. These COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are built from seamless chromemoly steel tubing with a .105" wall thickness, making them 17% stiffer than standard .080" wall pushrods. This added stiffness helps prevent flex under load, which is important for consistent valve timing and performance.
They're designed with the same oil hole diameter as standard pushrods to maintain proper oil flow to the valvetrain components. Each pushrod is OD ground for consistency and finished with a black-oxide coating. The length and part number are laser-etched right onto the pushrod, making identification easy during installation. This particular pushrod measures 7.900 inches long and has a 5/16 inch diameter.
