This robust construction, made from one-piece, heat-treated chromemoly tubing, is built to handle the high impact loads—up to 7500 lbs—experienced in demanding valve train setups, a technology originally developed for NASCAR and NHRA racing engines.
The 7/16-inch diameter offers additional stiffness, and the 5/16-inch ball ends are radiused. This radius design provides extra clearance for the rocker adjuster at high lift, and it also allows the pushrod to be installed in either orientation, 'up' or 'down'. The main body is straight, tapering down to a 210-degree radius at the end, ensuring it fits well within the engine's geometry while maintaining its structural integrity under stress.
