This set includes 16 COMP Cams pushrods, each measuring 10 inches long with a 7/16-inch diameter. These are built for demanding valve train setups where extra strength and clearance are needed. The 7/16-inch diameter offers more stiffness and a higher natural frequency compared to smaller pushrods, which is a significant advantage when you have enough intake port and lifter clearance.

COMP Cams developed the technology for these pushrods from NASCAR and NHRA racing, where they can experience impact loads up to 7500 lbs. They are made in the USA from one-piece, heat-treated chromemoly tubing, which is stronger than typical steel and handles extreme valve train setups better. The consistent .165-inch wall thickness, even in the tapered ends, makes them stiffer and stronger than common .080-inch or .125-inch wall designs. The 5/16-inch ball ends on each end provide extra clearance for the rocker adjuster at high lift, and they can be installed either way.
