Starting with a .165-inch wall thickness, these COMP Cams pushrods are built from one-piece, heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing. This construction makes them notably stiffer and stronger than previous .125-inch wall offerings, which translates directly into more accurate valve motion and better durability for your engine's valvetrain.
The dual taper design is a clever touch. The middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends, offering the benefits of a beefier 7/16-inch pushrod while still providing the clearance of a 3/8-inch option.
