What sets these apart is the dual taper design. The middle section is larger in diameter, giving you the rigidity benefits of a 7/16-inch pushrod, while the ends taper down to offer the clearance of a 3/8-inch pushrod. This design helps provide more accurate valve motion and durability, especially with the thicker .165-inch wall that's stiffer and stronger than previous .125-inch wall offerings. The ends also have a specific radius to give you extra clearance with your rocker arm adjuster at peak lift, which can be helpful for higher-flowing intake ports.
