The unique dual taper design means the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends. This gives you the benefits of a larger 7/16" pushrod for rigidity, while the ends offer the clearance of a 3/8" pushrod. This design helps provide extra clearance for rocker arm adjusters at peak lift and can also clear the top of most offset roller lifters. The .165" wall thickness is stiffer and stronger than previous .125" wall offerings, contributing to more accurate valve motion and better durability.
These pushrods are made in the USA and feature 5/16" ball ends with a 210-degree radius for additional rocker clearance.
