In this package, you get a single 7.650-inch long pushrod from COMP Cams. This pushrod is made in the USA from one-piece, heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, which makes it stronger than many other pushrods available. The dual taper design means the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends, offering the rigidity of a 7/16-inch pushrod while still providing the clearance of a 3/8-inch option.

This design is particularly helpful for applications needing extra clearance. The tapered ends help clear the top of most offset roller lifters, and the radius at the ball ends gives additional clearance for the rocker arm adjuster at peak lift. The .165-inch wall thickness is stiffer and stronger than previous .125-inch wall offerings, leading to more accurate valve motion and better durability. Both 5/16-inch ball ends feature a 210-degree radius.
