This set includes sixteen (16) COMP Cams Dual Taper pushrods, each measuring 7.650 inches long. These pushrods are constructed from a single piece of heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, a strong material that offers better durability than many other pushrods available. The unique dual taper design means the middle section of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends. This provides the rigidity of a larger 7/16-inch pushrod while still offering the clearance benefits of a 3/8-inch option, which is helpful for clearing rocker arm adjusters at peak lift and can also help with intake port flow.

The .165-inch wall thickness is notably stiffer and stronger than previous .125-inch wall offerings, contributing to more accurate valve motion and overall durability. The 5/16-inch ball ends are finished with a 210-degree radius, which helps provide additional clearance for the rocker arm adjuster.
