This listing is for a single COMP Cams Dual Taper pushrod, measuring 8.150 inches long. It's constructed from a single piece of heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, made right here in the USA, which makes it stronger than many other pushrods available.
The unique dual taper design means the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends. This gives you the benefits of a larger 7/16" pushrod for rigidity, but with the clearance of a 3/8" option. The tapered ends are specifically shaped to provide extra clearance for rocker arm adjusters at peak lift, and also to clear the top of most offset roller lifters. The .165" wall thickness is stiffer and stronger than older .125" wall designs, leading to more accurate valve motion and better durability over time.
