Starting with a .165" wall thickness, these 8.250" long, dual taper 7/16" diameter pushrods from COMP Cams are built for applications needing extra clearance. They offer the rigidity of a larger 7/16" pushrod while providing the clearance benefits of a 3/8" option, which can be helpful for higher-flowing intake ports. The dual taper design means the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends, and this taper is specifically shaped to clear the top of most offset roller lifters. Additionally, the radius on the ball ends helps provide extra clearance for the rocker arm adjuster at peak lift.

This .165" wall is notably stiffer and stronger than previous .125" wall offerings, which translates to more accurate valve motion and better durability over time. They are made in the U.S.A. from one-piece, heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing.
