This COMP Cams pushrod is made from one-piece, heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, which is stronger than most pushrods available. The dual taper design means the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends, offering the benefits of a large 7/16" pushrod while still providing the clearance of a 3/8" option. This design is particularly helpful for applications needing more clearance, such as with offset roller lifters or at peak valve lift where rocker arm adjuster clearance is crucial.

The .165" wall thickness is notably stiffer and stronger than previous .125" wall offerings, leading to more accurate valve motion and increased durability.
