This means the middle section is larger, offering the rigidity of a 7/16-inch pushrod while still providing the clearance of a 3/8-inch pushrod at the ends. This unique design helps clear offset roller lifters and provides extra clearance for the rocker arm adjuster at peak lift, which can lead to more accurate valve motion.

These pushrods are well-built from a single piece of heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, making them stronger and stiffer than previous .125-inch wall offerings, with a .165-inch wall thickness.
