They're designed to give you the best of both worlds: the rigidity and strength of a larger 7/16" pushrod, combined with the clearance benefits of a 3/8" pushrod, especially around rocker arms and offset roller lifters at peak lift.
These pushrods are made from a single piece of heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing right here in the USA. That construction makes them notably stiffer and stronger than previous offerings with a .125" wall, thanks to their .165" wall thickness. This improved stiffness helps ensure more accurate valve motion and better durability over time, which is crucial for keeping your engine running smoothly.
