This is a single COMP Cams Dual Taper pushrod, measuring 9.600 inches long. It's made in the USA from a single piece of heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, which makes it stronger than many other pushrods available. The unique dual taper design means the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends, giving you the rigidity of a larger 7/16-inch pushrod while still offering the clearance of a 3/8-inch option. This design helps provide more accurate valve motion and durability, especially in applications needing extra clearance around rocker arms at peak lift or offset roller lifters.

The .165-inch wall thickness is stiffer and stronger than previous .125-inch wall offerings, contributing to more precise valve train operation. Both 5/16-inch ball ends feature a 210-degree radius, designed to provide additional clearance for the rocker arm adjuster when the valve is at its highest lift.
