Starting with a .165" wall thickness, these COMP Cams Dual Taper pushrods are built to be stiffer and stronger than previous .125" wall offerings. This improved rigidity translates directly into more accurate valve motion, which is crucial for getting the most out of your engine's performance. They are made in the U.S.A. from one-piece, heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, a material known for its strength and durability.
The unique dual taper design means the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends. This gives you the benefits of a larger, 7/16" pushrod for rigidity, while still offering the clearance of a 3/8" pushrod. This taper also helps clear the top of most offset roller lifters and provides additional clearance for the rocker arm adjuster at peak lift, preventing interference. Both 5/16" ball ends feature a 210-degree radius for better contact.
