Starting with a .080" wall thickness from a single piece of seamless chromemoly tubing, these COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are built to handle the demands of high-RPM engines. The valve train is a critical system, and these pushrods are designed to be strong enough to avoid bending or burning up at the ends, while also matching the frequency of other valve train components. They are heat-treated to ensure compatibility with guide plates, and the ends are precision formed for added thickness and strength where it matters most.
Each pushrod is OD ground for consistent diameter and concentricity, then finished with a black oxide coating. For easy identification, the length and part number are laser etched onto the OD. This set is a solid option for builders looking for well-built components for their engine build.
