They are constructed from a single piece of seamless chromemoly steel tubing, featuring a .080-inch wall thickness for excellent strength and durability. This one-piece design helps prevent bending or failure under stress.

COMP Cams precision-forms the ends of these pushrods, adding extra thickness and strength where it matters most, while maintaining consistent wall thickness throughout. They are also heat-treated to ensure they work well with guide plates, a common setup in performance engines. The pushrods are OD ground for consistency and finished with a black oxide coating. Each pushrod has its length and part number laser etched onto the surface, making identification straightforward during installation.
