These Hi-Tech pushrods from COMP Cams are made from a single piece of .080" wall, seamless chromemoly tubing. This one-piece design from a strong material helps ensure they won't bend or fail under stress, which is crucial for maintaining valve train integrity at higher engine speeds.

The ends of these pushrods are precision formed to add extra thickness and strength right where it matters most, in the tip area that contacts the rocker arms and lifters. They're also heat-treated to handle the forces involved, especially when used with guide plates, and then OD ground for consistent diameter. The black oxide finish not only looks good but also helps with identification, as the length and part number are laser etched right onto the pushrod itself.
