When you're building an engine for serious performance, every component in the valve train needs to be up to the task. Pushrods are often overlooked, but they're critical for transferring the camshaft's lift to the rocker arms. If they aren't strong enough, they can bend or fail, causing major engine issues. These COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are made to handle the stress of high-RPM operation and demanding race applications.

They're constructed from a single piece of seamless chromemoly steel tubing with a .080-inch wall thickness, which gives them excellent strength and durability. The ends are precision-formed for added thickness where it matters most, and the entire pushrod is heat-treated to ensure it works well with guide plates. COMP Cams also grinds them for consistency and finishes them with a black oxide coating. Each pushrod is laser-etched with its length and part number, making identification straightforward during installation.
