When you're rebuilding the top end of your engine, especially for performance applications, the pushrods are a critical component that often gets overlooked. These Hi-Tech pushrods from COMP Cams are built to handle the demands of high-RPM, race-oriented engines. They play a key role in transferring the motion from your camshaft to the valves, so strength and consistency are paramount.

Constructed from a single piece of seamless chromemoly steel tubing with a .080-inch wall thickness, these pushrods offer excellent strength and durability. The ends are precision-formed to add extra thickness where it matters most, ensuring they won't bend or wear out prematurely, even when used with guide plates. COMP Cams also heat-treats them for maximum strength and then OD grinds them for consistent diameter and concentricity. Each pushrod is finished with a black oxide coating and has its length and part number laser-etched on the outside for easy identification during installation.
