When you're building or rebuilding an engine, especially one that's going to see serious RPMs, the pushrods are a critical component that shouldn't be overlooked. COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are made to handle the demands of high-performance applications. They're constructed from a single piece of seamless chromemoly steel tubing with a .080-inch wall thickness, which gives them a lot of strength to resist bending or deforming under stress.

The ends of these pushrods are precision formed to add extra thickness and durability right where they make contact, while keeping the wall thickness consistent all the way through. They're also heat-treated to ensure they work well with guide plates, and the surface is ground for uniformity. COMP Cams finishes them with a black oxide coating and laser-etches the length and part number right onto the pushrod, making them easy to identify when you're putting your engine together.
