If you're rebuilding the top end of your engine, especially for a performance build, getting the valvetrain geometry just right is key. These COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are designed to help you achieve that precision. They measure 8.650 inches long with a 3/8 inch diameter and a substantial .135 inch wall thickness, which is 37% stiffer than standard .080 inch wall pushrods.

This increased stiffness is important because it means the pushrods won't flex as much under the stress of high-RPM operation or aggressive camshaft profiles. Less flex means more consistent valve lift and duration, which translates to better engine performance. They're made from a single piece of seamless chromemoly steel, then black oxide coated and heat-treated for durability. Both tips feature a 210-degree radius for proper contact with the rocker arms and lifters, and the oil holes are the same diameter as standard pushrods to maintain full oil flow to the valvetrain.
