Starting with a .105" wall thickness, these COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are built from seamless chromemoly steel tubing. This construction choice gives them a 17 percent increase in stiffness compared to standard .080" wall pushrods, which is important for maintaining consistent valvetrain geometry, especially when you're rebuilding or upgrading your engine's top end.
They're designed with the same diameter oil holes as standard pushrods to ensure proper lubrication flow to the valvetrain components. The .105" wall Hi-Tech pushrods are OD ground for consistency and finished with a black-oxide coating. This finish not only helps with corrosion resistance but also makes it easy to identify the length and part number, which are laser-etched right onto the pushrod itself.
