Starting with a .105 inch wall thickness, these COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are built for improved stiffness. They are constructed from a single piece of seamless chromemoly steel tubing, which is then black oxide coated and heat-treated for added durability. This construction makes them 17 percent stiffer than standard .080 inch wall pushrods, helping to ensure your valvetrain operates more consistently under load.
The 7.700 inch length and 5/16 inch diameter are common dimensions for many engine builds, and the oil holes maintain the same diameter as standard pushrods to ensure proper oil flow. Each pushrod is OD ground for consistency and features a black oxide finish. For easy identification, the length and part number are laser-etched onto each piece.
