COMP Cams Pushrods Hi-Tech Pushrod 5/16

When you're building or rebuilding an engine, especially one that's going to see some serious RPMs, the pushrods are a critical part of the valve train that you can't overlook. COMP Cams' Hi-Tech pushrods are made to handle the demands of high-performance engines. They're constructed from a single piece of seamless .080-inch wall chromemoly steel tubing, which gives them a lot of strength without adding unnecessary weight. This one-piece design helps prevent bending or failure, even under tough conditions.

The ends of these pushrods are precision formed to add extra thickness and strength right where they connect with the rocker arms and lifters. This attention to detail ensures they can handle the forces involved in opening and closing valves at high engine speeds. They're also heat-treated to work reliably with guide plates, and the OD is ground for consistent dimensions. Plus, they have a black oxide finish and the length and part number are laser etched on the outside, making them easy to identify during installation.
