These COMP Cams Dual Taper pushrods start with a .165-inch wall thickness, which is noticeably stiffer and stronger than the older .125-inch wall designs. This improved rigidity translates directly into more accurate valve motion and better durability for your engine's valvetrain. They are constructed from one-piece, heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, a material known for its strength, and are made right here in the USA.

The unique dual taper design means the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends. This provides the benefits of a larger 7/16-inch pushrod, like increased stiffness, while still offering the clearance of a 3/8-inch pushrod. This taper is specifically designed to clear the top of most offset roller lifters and also offers additional clearance to the rocker arm adjuster at peak lift, which can be crucial for higher-flowing intake ports. Both 5/16-inch ball ends feature a 210-degree radius for proper contact.
