This set includes sixteen (16) COMP Cams Dual Taper pushrods, each measuring 7.950 inches long. These pushrods are constructed from a single piece of heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, making them a strong choice for your engine build. They are made in the USA.
The unique dual taper design means the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends. This gives you the benefits of a larger 7/16" pushrod for rigidity, while the ends offer clearance similar to a 3/8" pushrod. This design helps provide additional clearance for rocker arm adjusters at peak lift and can also clear the top of most offset roller lifters, which is helpful for higher-flowing intake ports. The .165" wall thickness is stiffer and stronger than previous .125" wall offerings, contributing to more accurate valve motion and overall durability.
