They are made from a single piece of heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, which is notably stronger and stiffer than many other pushrods on the market, especially compared to their previous .125" wall offerings. The middle section of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends, giving you the rigidity of a 7/16" pushrod while still providing the clearance of a 3/8" pushrod. This design helps ensure more accurate valve motion, especially at peak lift, and the tapered ends are shaped to clear the tops of most offset roller lifters and rocker arm adjusters. The 5/16" ball ends have a 210-degree radius for good contact.
