These COMP Cams Dual Taper pushrods start with a specific design choice: the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends. This dual taper design offers the benefits of a beefy 7/16" pushrod, like increased rigidity, while still providing the clearance of a 3/8" pushrod, which is helpful for clearing rocker arm adjusters at peak lift and can also help with intake port flow. The pushrods are also tapered to clear the top of most offset roller lifters.

Built from one-piece, heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing right here in the USA, these pushrods feature a .165" wall thickness. That's a noticeable step up in stiffness and strength compared to older .125" wall designs, meaning you get more accurate valve motion and better durability over time. The 5/16" ball ends are formed with a 210° radius, adding to the overall strength and proper contact with your rocker arms.
