If you're rebuilding the top end of your engine, these COMP Cams Dual Taper pushrods are a solid choice. They're 8.400 inches long and feature a unique dual taper design where the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends. This design gives you the benefits of a beefy 7/16-inch pushrod for stiffness, but with the clearance of a 3/8-inch pushrod, which is especially helpful for clearing rocker arm adjusters at peak lift and most offset roller lifters.

What really sets these apart is their construction. They're made in the USA from a single piece of heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing. This material is known for being strong and durable, and the .165-inch wall thickness is stiffer and stronger than older .125-inch wall designs. This means more accurate valve motion and better durability over time, which is exactly what you want when you're pushing your engine hard.

This set includes all 16 pushrods needed for a full engine. The 5/16-inch ball ends are also designed with a specific radius to provide extra clearance where it's needed most.
