This set includes sixteen 8.450-inch long, dual taper pushrods from COMP Cams. These pushrods are constructed from a single piece of heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, a material known for its strength and durability, making them a solid option for many engine builds. They are made in the USA.

The unique dual taper design means the middle section of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends. This offers the rigidity benefits of a larger 7/16-inch pushrod while still providing the clearance of a 3/8-inch pushrod, which can be helpful for intake port flow or clearing offset roller lifters. The .165-inch wall thickness is notably stiffer and stronger than previous .125-inch wall offerings, contributing to more accurate valve motion and overall durability. The 5/16-inch ball ends feature a 210-degree radius to ensure adequate clearance with the rocker arm adjuster, especially at peak lift.
