This set includes sixteen 8.500-inch long, dual-taper pushrods from COMP Cams. These pushrods are designed to give you the rigidity of a larger 7/16-inch diameter pushrod while maintaining the clearance benefits of a 3/8-inch pushrod, making them a solid option for applications needing extra room. They are constructed from a single piece of heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, which is known for its strength and durability.
The unique dual-taper design means the middle section of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends. This taper helps provide additional clearance for rocker arm adjusters at peak lift, and can also clear the tops of most offset roller lifters. The .165-inch wall thickness is notably stiffer and stronger than previous .125-inch wall offerings, contributing to more accurate valve motion and overall durability in your engine.
