When you're rebuilding the top end of your engine, getting the valve train geometry just right is key. These Dual Taper pushrods from COMP Cams are designed to help you achieve that accuracy. They measure 8.700 inches long and feature a unique dual taper design where the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends. This gives you the benefit of a beefy 7/16 inch pushrod for stiffness, but with the clearance of a 3/8 inch option where it counts, especially around the rocker arm adjuster at peak lift and for clearing offset roller lifters.

Built from one-piece, heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing right here in the USA, these pushrods are made to be strong and durable. The .165 inch wall thickness is notably stiffer and stronger than previous .125 inch offerings, which translates to more accurate valve motion and better overall durability for your engine. The 5/16 inch ball ends are also shaped with a radius to provide additional clearance, ensuring smooth operation even at high engine speeds.
