These COMP Cams Dual Taper pushrods start with a .165" wall thickness, which is notably stiffer and stronger than older .125" wall designs. This improved rigidity translates directly into more accurate valve motion and better overall durability for your engine's valvetrain. They are constructed from one-piece, heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing right here in the USA, making them a strong choice for demanding applications.

The unique dual taper design means the middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends. This gives you the benefits of a larger 7/16" pushrod while still providing the clearance typically found with a 3/8" pushrod, especially around the rocker arm adjuster at peak lift. The ends are also tapered to help clear offset roller lifters, and both 5/16" ball ends feature a 210° radius for proper rocker arm contact.
