These 10-degree tool steel retainers from COMP Cams are made from high-grade tool steel, offering a great balance of light weight and serious strength. They are approximately 33% lighter than standard chromemoly steel retainers, giving you improved valve train benefits without the cost of titanium. Developed using advanced CAD and FEA software, they are CNC-machined for consistent quality and Spintron-tested to ensure they can handle extreme RPMs.
This retainer is designed to fit all valve stem sizes and works with valve springs that have a 1.095 inch outer diameter, such as COMP Cams springs like the 26120, 26981, 26918, 26986, and 26995. The tool steel construction provides exceptional strength and wear characteristics, making them a solid option for demanding applications where reliability is key.
