The arched, web-like design isn't just for looks; it increases strength and rigidity while also reducing the moment of inertia for better dynamic balance. A unique black oxide exterior finish helps prevent corrosion and adds to the overall durability of the part.

You'll find oversized trunnions, precision-sorted needle bearings, and hardened roller tips inside, all contributing to improved performance and dependability. COMP Cams also optimized the retainer and valve spring clearances, meaning you can use most common spring diameters, retainers, and +.050" locks without running into clearance or fitment issues.
