COMP Cams has taken their original Ultra-Gold design and improved it with an Arced, Recessed, Contoured (ARC) body. This design, developed using FEA analysis, results in a stronger, stiffer rocker arm without adding unnecessary weight. The arced channel and contoured top create a unique bridge-like structure that offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Additionally, the body is CNC contoured to ensure better clearance with valve springs and valve covers, which can be a common issue during installation. These rockers are manufactured entirely in the USA and feature a spring oiler channel running through the body to improve lubrication to the valve train. They also use durable spiral lock clips to retain the trunnion, a more robust solution than traditional clips, and have stress-relieving radii added to critical areas. Even the included locking nuts have been updated for better lash retention and reduced wear.
