When you're rebuilding the top end of your engine, you'll want to make sure your valve train is up to the task. This set includes sixteen Ultra-Gold ARC Series aluminum rocker arms from COMP Cams, designed for Chevrolet Small Block V8 engines with 265 to 400 cubic inch displacement and 7/16" studs. These rockers are built in the USA and feature an arced, recessed, and contoured design that COMP Cams developed using FEA analysis. This construction results in a strong, stiff body that helps improve engine power and valve train stability, all while maintaining a good strength-to-weight ratio.

The Ultra-Gold ARC rockers also incorporate an exclusive spring oiler channel through the body to improve lubrication, and they use durable spiral lock clips instead of traditional retaining clips. COMP Cams has also added stress-relieving radii to key areas and revised the included locking nuts for better lash retention. These rockers are designed to handle up to 700 lbs of open spring pressure, making them a solid option for many high-performance street and racing applications across a wide range of Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles from the 1950s through the 1980s.
