COMP Cams is well-known for making performance engine parts, and their Ultra-Gold rocker arms have been a popular choice for a long time. Now, they've updated the design with the Ultra-Gold ARC Series. These rocker arms are built for performance street and racing engines, aiming to improve valve train stability and oiling while also increasing power. They feature a new arced channel and contoured top, similar to a bridge design, which helps create a strong and stiff body without adding unnecessary weight. This design also includes extra contouring to ensure better clearance with valve covers and springs, which is a practical consideration during installation.

Manufactured in the USA, these Ultra-Gold ARC rockers are constructed from aluminum and have undergone FEA analysis to achieve a strong, stiff body. They are designed to handle up to 700 lbs of open spring pressure and include a spring oiler channel through the body for improved lubrication. The retaining clips have been replaced with durable spiral lock clips, and stress-relieving radii have been added to key areas. The included locking nuts are also updated to increase surface area, helping to maintain lash and reduce wear. This set is specifically for Ford Small Block V8 engines like the 289, 302, and 351 Windsor, using a 7/16" stud and featuring a 1.6 ratio. They must be used with screw-in studs and guide plates.
