They feature a 7/16-inch base thread that screws into the cylinder head and a 3/8-inch thread on top for your rocker arms.
What sets these studs apart is their construction for ultimate strength and reliability. They have rolled threads, which means the threads are formed rather than cut, giving you better contact and strength. The top of the stud is ground flat, which helps ensure accurate valve adjustments that stay put, even under high spring pressures and RPMs. The jam nut is also designed with a larger diameter to spread the load over a wider area, reducing stress on the cylinder head.
This set includes 16 studs, enough for a typical V8 engine. They come with a black oxide finish to help resist corrosion and have generous radii to reduce stress points.
