Starting with a hardened steel alloy seat, these COMP Cams Rotator Eliminators are built to handle the high spring pressures and RPMs found in race engines. They offer a straightforward solution to prevent the issues that arise from stacking multiple shims under your valve springs, especially on Big Block Chevrolet engines. The .300" thickness of these seat spacers means you won't need to stack shims to achieve the correct height.
Unlike older designs that required significant head machining to fit an external locating cup, COMP Cams' updated design features an inside locating shoulder and a spring cup. This makes installation simpler and ensures the spring is held securely in place. The .623" inner diameter is designed for springs with a .623" ID, and the 1.568" outer diameter fits springs with that OD, making them a solid option for your engine build.
